About 16 people killed in Molotov cocktail explosion at Cairo- Egypt restaurant

A bomb in the form of  Molotov cocktail exploded at Cairo restaurant killing 16 people and seriously wounding few on Friday said security officials in Egypt

Officer said that attacker was former employee, sacked by the restaurant which is located in Agouza area in the center of Cairo- Egyptian capital city.

Blast victims were charred to death or lost their lives due to suffocation by blast smoke in the building. The restaurant is housing nightclub also, located at a basement of the structure had no escape or exit route, said firefighter.

Radical Islamist Jihadi militants have earlier claimed responsibility on number of occasions of bombing attacks and shooting in Egypt. Majority of the attacks are aimed at targeting members of the security forces. After the military toppled government of the Muslim Brotherhood lead by President Mohamed Morsi in 2013 after fiery public protests.

Putin was speaking during presenting offering gallantry awards Russian military servicemen.
Russian counter terrorism operations in Syria showing a good positive impact on the strategic situation in the Middle East, said President Putin.
"I should say that your duty in Syria is effectively influencing the security situation in whole region. Obviously, your operations cannot make turn around. So what your accomplices are doing commendable jobs in other arenas. Syrians Forces will continue to fight with our assistance.
But the good and positive changes taking place in Syria you and your colleagues deserves accolades, who are battling in the Syrian skies, as well as commanding, guiding and aiding Syrian armed forces," President Putin told.
He heartfully expressed thanks to all Russian Armed Forces personnel assuming duties Syrian Armed Campaign.
