Subject: About Objectionable Content in Washington Post & New York Times
To: Mr Sanjeev Kumar Verma-THE FOREIGN CORRESPONDENTS' CLUB OF SOUTH ASIA

To,
Mr Sanjeev Kumar Verma,
Manager- THE FOREIGN CORRESPONDENTS' CLUB OF SOUTH ASIA,
Sir,
After BJP leader Yogi Adityanath elected as CM of Uttar Pradesh, two US based newspapers viz, Washington Post & New York Times published highly objectionable and derogatory articles about Yogi Adityanath, the links of these articles pasted below.
As you know, such derogatory, foul and un-parliamentary language against any elected representative and decision of democratically elected members of the legislature comes under Breach of Privilege Rules 272.
So, with this email, Legal Rights Observatory- LRO demands unconditional and immediate apology from both newspapers mentioned above, otherwise LRO will move request to Speaker of Uttar Pradesh Assembly ( After new Speaker gets elected) to admit Breach Of Privilege Motion against both newspapers.
Parallelly LRO will explore all possible legal options to contain and punish malicious propaganda and smear campaign by Washington Post and New York times against Indian leaders.

Vinay Joshi-Convener- LRO
